Unlocking the Tomb of the Stars
The Tomb of the Stars is a critical endgame location in Jujutsu: Zero. Unlocking it provides long-term progression benefits, including access to a Vow exchanger and an Infinity Token shop where you can acquire rare clans like Tengen, Toji, and Kenjaku. While players fortunate enough to roll the Tengen Clan can enter this area immediately, most players must complete a specific, two-part questline given by the Lazy Sorcerer NPC located near the main spawn.
Preparation and Material Requirements
Before embarking on this quest, efficiency is key. Preparing your materials beforehand prevents unnecessary backtracking, which can save you significant time. Based on community experiences and guides, ensure you have the following inventory items ready:
- Currency: 5,500 Lumens and 155,000 Yen.
- Crafting Materials: 1x Iron, 1x Cursed Iron, 1x Cursed Flesh, and 1x Heavenly Fragment.
Most of these materials, such as Iron, Cursed Iron, and the Heavenly Fragment, are primarily obtained through raid crates. If you have been actively participating in raids, you likely have these in your stash already. The Cursed Flesh can be farmed by defeating the Cursed Remnant mini-boss.
Part 1: The Four Sealed Red Gates
After speaking to the Lazy Sorcerer to initiate the quest, your first task is to locate and make offerings at four "Sealed Gates" (often referred to as Red Gates). You must perform specific sacrifices at each location to proceed.
- Sealed Gate I: Located in the Mountain Plains. Climb the right cliffs of the central mountain (Coordinates: 967, 334, 958). Sacrifice: 1,000 Lumens, 10,000 Yen, 1x Iron.
- Sealed Gate II: Behind the mountain at the beach, accessible via TP6 (Coordinates: 4061, -43, -315). Sacrifice: 1,500 Lumens, 15,000 Yen, 1x Cursed Iron.
- Sealed Gate III: Near the lake, accessible via TP3 (Coordinates: -921, -13, -885). Sacrifice: 3,000 Lumens, 30,000 Yen, 1x Cursed Flesh.
- Sealed Gate IV: The most challenging gate to find. Located near the Sorcery Heavenly Restrictor NPC, you must find a fallen log over the water and jump into the corner of the lake to enter a hidden underwater area (Coordinates: 1138, -196, -456). Sacrifice: 100,000 Yen, 1x Heavenly Fragment.
Part 2: Clearing the 10 Fog Sealed Gates
Once the four Red Gates are satisfied, return to the Lazy Sorcerer to unlock the next phase: clearing the 10 "Fog Sealed Gates" (Blue Gates). Unlike the first set of gates, these do not require material sacrifices; your objective is simply to find and activate them to clear the map's fog.
Tip
While the coordinates for these gates are specific (e.g., Gate I at 201, 98, 978 and Gate X at 1820, 627, 1726), they are primarily concentrated within the Mountain Plains region. If you find yourself disoriented, tracking your movement against a map overlay or following a consistent path through the area is recommended.
Accessing the Elevator
Once all 10 blue gates are activated, you have completed the questline. You can now head to the Jujutsu Tech area to use the elevator. From the main spawn, head toward the Grade Ascension NPC, then continue straight to the edge of the map, where the elevator is tucked away behind a large tree at coordinates (-1327, 104, 2097).
Once you descend, you will have permanent access to the Tomb of the Stars. This area is essential for players looking to optimize their build through Tier 4 Vows and utilize Infinity Tokens to obtain specific, non-RNG clan choices.
Why should I unlock the Tomb of the Stars?
It is the hub for end-game progression. It houses the Vow Exchanger (allowing you to craft higher-tier Vows) and the Infinity Exchange, where you can trade Infinity Tokens for specific rare clans.
I am in the Tomb of the Stars, but it feels empty. Is it worth it?
Yes. While the area currently serves as a foundation, it is vital to have it unlocked now. Players who wait to unlock it will find themselves behind on progression when future updates expand the area's functionality.
Can I skip these quests?
Only if you currently have the Tengen Clan equipped. Otherwise, completing the Lazy Sorcerer's quest is mandatory for access.
